and why am I taking spanish anyway? it isn’t as if I wasn’t already confused enough…

I am an American, living in Finland. And I’m taking a Spanish course. And also a Russian course, let’s not forget that. I had two years of Russian in school before I came here, and now I have such trouble remembering anything!

okay, lesson 9 in my spanish book is ‘Correr para estar en forma … ‘ (to run for being in shape) and lesson 10 is ‘Una cuestión de vida o muerte’ (a question of life or death) and they detail the adventures of Paco and Marina. Paco y Marina están de visita en casa de su amigo Carlos Ortega.

Carlos No, yo no, Estoy muy gordo.
